Jeeps and heaps

This is our initial post. Jeeps , heaps and others. We are going to talk of ,Jeeps , project jeeps and heaps that wish to be projects. We use Jeeps as our business , its part of our lifestyle and our recreation. We off road, use them as daily drivers, and race them when we can.

Its not cheap to drive a SUV , a truck or a JEEP. But, who the hell wants to drive a car ? As long as I can afford it , its my choice , its America and I will do so. My Jeeps and trucks are paid for, and the extra gas I use , sure doesn't add up to a car payment. My Grand Cherokee gets 23-25 mpg , if you keep it a 70 mph , use synthetic oil and fluids, keep the tires pumped up, and use a high flow air filter. I must travel off the road , in the course of my business , a Toyota Camry ,wouldn't get it done. I need to carry tools and other items , again a econobox wouldn't get it done. Capacity , capability all are reasons to drive a 4wd truck and/or SUV OR JEEP.
